Hinoki wood products are left uncoated and untreated to bring out their best features. If cared for correctly, they can last a very long time. Please ensure the following steps to take proper care of hinoki wood products.
Hand wash only with lukewarm water and dry the wood in the shade, as drying in direct sunlight may cause the wood to bend, wrap or crack.
Hinoki wood owes its unique fragrance and antimicrobial properties to its natural oil and resin content. Over time, untreated hinoki wood products may release a sticky sap which can appear as black spots. To remove excess resin, wipe gently with lukewarm water.
When the hinoki wood is scratched or stained, you can repair it by lightly sanding with some sandpaper.
- Some orders, particularly those outside the UK, may be subject to import taxes and VAT. All incurred charges are the responsibility of the buyer, as AROMON has no control over these. Any questions on customs policies must be made to your local postal service.

Our standard return policy
We are happy to issue a refund for any unused item that is returned in its original condition and packaging (excluding sale items).
Within 14 days for UK orders
Within 21 days for EU orders
Within 30 days for international orders

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the exact condition that you received it, including the original packaging.
Returning an item
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please attach either an invoice or a copy of your purchase order email confirmation with your returned goods.
When returning an item, please retain any proof of postage from your chosen courier. We will not be responsible for any item that is lost or damaged in transit. If you are returning an item, please ensure that it is well packaged to prevent any damage during transit and ensure its safe journey. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item and we cannot accept returned items with any damage incurred in transit. Please make a direct claim with your courier. Please also note that all shipping and handling fees cannot be returned.

Refund Procedure
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Once approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit or debit card or original method of payment within 3 to 7 working days.
